Join award winning teacher Katie Stall to discuss and share challenges facing new, and sometimes not so new - career-tech teachers!

This interactive workshop is geared toward new teachers, both career field and academic; veteran teachers facing evolving student demographics; and administrators who want to build an orientation for new teachers.

Spend a day devoted to connecting with other new teachers and learning from more experienced colleagues what it means to teach cte.  As an added bonus, you will make connections to other new teachers around the state as well as colleagues you can call on with future questions.

Topics will include:

-          Assessments and defining competency

-          Growing teaching methods from Bloom’s Taxonomy

-          Classroom management and using games to reinforce learning

-          How CTSO’s benefit you/your students

-          Integrating academics/CTE

Plus, discuss issues that are keeping you up at night as you prepare for a great school year!
